Tips on Removing Smoke Odor From Hair
Fabric Softener Sheets
A number of products found around the home can be used to get rid of smoke odor from hair. A simple trick is to use a fabric softener sheet to rub your hair. Not only will this reduce the smell from smoke, but it will also eliminate static. If you don't have dryer sheets, put some softener or air freshener on a piece of cloth and then rub it on your hair quickly from top to bottom, avoiding the roots.
Hair Products
A number of hair products can be used to either eliminate or mask the smoke odor. Dry, no-rinse shampoos can be applied directly on dry hair and then combed through. They will clean your hair, eliminate any ash present and get rid of the odor all at once. Try mousse or spraying your hair with a mix of water and hair conditioner. You might need to towel dry and reapply a couple of times to completely erase the smell.
